So, you’ve decided to pop the question in Alicante, that’s an incredible choice (That’s actually the city where my fiancé proposed to me!) Here we’ve got the sun, the sea, the gorgeous old town, and nice beaches.
We’ll map out the perfect spot and timing together. But honestly? Don't stress too much about the "perfect" plan. Whatever happens, it’s your moment, and that’s what matters most. Everything will fall into place, and I’ll be there to capture the magic regardless.
Why Book a Photographer for Your Secret Proposal?
You don't need a photographer to make your proposal.
But here’s the thing: that moment when you actually ask? It will be a total blur. You’re going to be nervous, you’re going to be focused on your partner, and ten seconds later, you’ll barely remember what you even said, and of course not her face looked like when she realized what was happening.
That’s why people do it. Because they want to remember this special moment and be able to see that moment later.
When you hire someone, you just forget the camera exists. You just be yourself. You make your proposal, you laugh, you cry, you do your thing and I just happen to be there. And you will be so happy to show that moment to your family and friends.
How we pull this off (without getting caught)
I know, this is the part that usually stresses people out: how are you going to be there without her seeing me?
Honestly, you don’t have to stress about that. It’s way simpler than you can imagine. Here is how we make it work:
The "Game Plan": Once we pick a spot, I’ll send you a quick photo or a pin on a map so you know exactly where to go. I’ll also let you know where I’ll be hanging out. You don’t need to memorize anything, just follow the plan, and I’ll be in place before you arrive.
The visual check: I’ll need a quick photo of you two beforehand, and also tell me what you’ll be wearing that day. Also mention if you’re wearing anything specific like a cap or sunglasses so I can spot you easily!
WhatsApp: On the day, we keep it low-key. A quick message or a live location share once you’re close, and I’m ready. You don’t need to worry about spotting me, I’ll be watching for you hehe!
Discretion: I stay low-key and blend into the surroundings.
After the surprise proposal, time to breathe!
You’ve done it, congratulations! Once the adrenaline settles down, take a second to just breathe. This is your moment to soak it all in. Usually, this is when your partner will start firing off questions: “When did you plan this?” “How did you pick the ring?” “How did you pick the place?”
While you two are catching up and letting it sink in, I’ll be there to capture those genuine, post-proposal moments.
We’ll take a few close-ups of the ring, it deserves its moment, after all!
We’ll walk around a bit, the two of you, and get some relaxed, natural portraits. I’ll guide you all the way. No pressure, this isn’t a stiff, formal photoshoot. It’s just you two hanging out, celebrating the fact that you’re about to start a whole new chapter together.
This way, by the time we’re done, you’ll not only have the photos of the surprise, but also a beautiful souvenir of the excitement right after you popped the question 💛
A few tips for Alicante spots:
Santa Bárbara Castle: Tons of corners with a killer view.
The Old Town (Barrio): Perfect if you want something more colorful with a lot of flowers, plants, and typical Spanish little streets.
The beach: If you want that Mediterranean vibe.

A quick note on timing & locations (especially in summer)
If you're planning your proposal during the high season, please bear in mind that Alicante gets busy. From the beaches to the Old Town, people are everywhere from sunrise until late at night!
If you want an intimate moment, "just the two of you" vibe, we have to aim for early morning, to avoid having tourists in the background of your proposal photos.
The Beach Choice: If you would like a beach proposal, I highly recommend we head to San Juan. It’s much more beautiful than the city beaches, and because it’s so spacious, it’s much easier to find a quiet, private spot where we won't be surrounded by umbrellas and crowds.
